Biography
Rositsa Getsova was born in 1969 in Sofia, Bulgaria. 1994 graduated from the National Art Academy - Sofia, Specialty Placard. Since 1998 She has started performing solo exhibitions: "Not Functioning", "Give Peace A Chance", Arosita Gallery, Sofia (1999); "Abstract" Arch & Art Gallery Palina, Vienna (2007); Tea Ceremony, installation, Arosita Gallery, Sofia (2009) "TETRIS" plastic, video „Keeping your breath”, photo installation, Gallery GEDOKmuc, Artist in Residence der Gedok Muenchen (2011); Never the same, Bulgarian Cultural Institute, Czech Republic, Prague, (2013); "Save", Arosita Gallery, Sofia (2013); "STAICHKI", Spring Festival of Contemporary Art, Blagoevgrad (2015); "No Resistance", Arosita Gallery, Sofia (2016).

She is organizer "International Festival of the Chapel - Sofia" (2010 - 2016) Awards: Gedok Muenchen Residence, (2011); Iron Medal for Contemporary Art (2014); International Cultural Relations at NRWKULTURseretariat, Düsseldorf (2014) Rositsa Getsova is a visual artist, treating the ephemeral in objects, installations, video.
A gallery artist in the Arosita Gallery. She is an author with a proven presence in Sofia's art scene and she is both a painter, a curator and a gallery artist. She is a representative author of the trends of modern art.
