Valentin Stefanoff

Biography

Valentin Stefanoff is born 1959 in Sofia. He lives and works in Paris, France. In 1985 Valentin Stefanoff graduated from The National Art Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria.   • Description: Ten spatial drawings / objects, on plexiglas 6mm thick. The drawings are on both sides of plexiglas - text transfer, glass painting, transparent and opaque parts. The plexiglas is mounted at 5-6 cm distance from the wall; the drawing and the opaque parts are throwing a shadow on the wall. The drawing and the shadow together create an impression of three-dimensional object. The shadow is a part of the work.
