About

In my experiments with light, body, time and space, I explore what is photography. My works differ in production and appearance and yet they have a com- mon idea underlying: With every project, I test photography’s ability to bring out the Hidden to visibility and to fix the Ephemeral as an image. Unique cam- era-less works, blind drawings with light, painterly direct exposures, experimental, folded work on the border with objects, filtergramms’ and interactions with pinhole cameras form the core of my practice. The paper, with its properties of absorbing light, becomes the bearer of painterly traces. With punctual light sources, laser pointers or colored diodes, I leave from the ditance traces of color on the photo paper. The apparatus and the tools of the working process become acting parts: whether in the shape of a small pinhole camera obscura as in the works “From Me / To Me” for wich I sent my- self through the post active cameras to document their journey or in “Dematerialization of everyday life” (2016) for which zoomed into the metariality of everyday objects.
