Geshov Gallery

About the space

Geshov Gallery was created in November 2015 with the intent to become a contemporary art space. The gallery is in the old Jewish district of Sofia where architecture and archeology meet in a unique way, going back from the first settlements to the Secession period and contemporary design.
The district has its own festival – KvARTal festival awakening the artistic potential of residents, spaces and places and welcoming many visitors from the country and abroad.
In this specific location, Geshov Gallery offers to many Bulgarian and foreign artists the opportunity to present their artistic projects. The aim of the gallery is to participate actively in the contemporary scene with engaging visual projects and making the audience closer to the challenges and the causes of their time.
