Biography
Gery Georgieva (b. 1986, Varna, Bulgaria) lives and works in London and is a recent graduate from the Royal Academy Schools. Georgieva’s work encompasses video, sculpture, performance, multimedia installations and occasional musical collaborations. Recent solo projects include: На Чешмата (At the Source), Block Universe, The Blushing Valley, Swimming Pool Projects Sofia (2017), Polythene Queen, Hunter/Whitfield (2017); Original Cheese, ANDOR (2016) as well as screenings at Whitechapel Gallery London (2018) South London Gallery (2018) Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt (2018), Royal Academy of Arts (2017), MOCA Cleveland, Ohio (2016), Frieze Art Fair, London (2015) & Random Acts, Channel 4 (2015) amongst others.
