Doza

About

Established in 2019, the gallery showcases various forms of contemporary art and culture.

The lack of infrastructure, recognition, understanding, legitimacy, vocation, debate, awareness of the contribution of art to a society that meets our post-historic modernity with the senses of a dark and backward periphery, serve as a context, and also as a base for the development of the gallery.

The criteria and program for Doza's exhibition activity are determined on the basis of a selection, including proposals received. In them quality, thesis and spirit are sought, or in other words manifestations of senses other than those described above.

Some of the Doza gallery exhibitions are: "Altered Voices" (2022), an exhibition of Michaela Lakova, Voin de Voin, Cedric Van Parys, Dimitar Galileev; “Bollywood4ever. Exhibition of Georgi Ruzhev" (2022); "The gates of heaven are closed" (2021), exhibition of Alexander Yuzev, curator Yovo Panchev; "Universal production. Exhibition of Andrey Vrabchev and Dobromir Ivan" (2020). The space also takes part in some of the capital's recognizable festivals such as Sofia Underground (2022); FotoFabrica (2022); Sofia Queer Forum (2021); the "NEXT Balkan" platform; and participates in educational platforms, including the New Creative Academy and other open lectures.
