About
For years, Rosina Pencheva has been documenting the creative process before the meeting of art with its audience – musicians, actors, and directors in rehearsals, artists and craftsmen in the studio – the creation of the work of art before it became such. Moments of search, doubt, inspiration. […]
When Rosina photographs "without an audience", she relies on her intuition to capture the significance before it becomes so, creativity before it becomes art, important for a cultural institution, before the audience recognizes it as worthy of attention. The visual archives she creates are a privilege both for the artists and the organizations she works with and for the audience whose curiosity tempts and empathizes.

- Description: The photography shows a house in the center of Sofia at the moment of its demolition. At one time the property of Racho Petrov – an officer and two-time prime minister of Bulgaria – the building was neglected for a period of 25 years. No one kept it up, and it stayed there, without windows or doors, surrounded by metal barriers that did not keep homeless people from inhabiting it. In 2017, the day after Christmas, an excavator sank and turned over while the house was being demolished. On a television broadcast, the minister of culture contradictorily noted: "It is interesting how the demolition of emblematic sites begins around Christmas."
